But... well, I'm sure you noticed Jusis hasn't left the Order. And he says he won't leave until he finds a better option than the ones we have now, or manages to change the Order himself.

... I can't leave him to shoulder that all himself.

You know some of 'em are basically cultists, right? Not the ones here, or even really most of 'em, but...

The first time I dealt with the Order, I was forced to watch Rean and Hunter die. It was only by the mercy of a death goddess that I got them back a few horrible days later.

The Order? They couldn't even be bothered to say "Sorry for your loss".

Yeah, that sounds right. I glanced over the write-ups for Kaisou before they sent me this way.

[He isn't going to say what was in those write-ups, because it would piss Elliot off more than likely.]

An' the team they sent out here wasn't even the worst of them. The one they sent after me was a dick. [God.] I'm not sayin' this to try and talk you out of it--I ain't stupid--just. Warning you.

Tch, someone has to. [Anyway.] Just be careful. And I ain't gonna join back up with them any time soon, but if you guys need help, lemme know? I'll do what I can.

[He does mean that too. Ash is young, but he is a member of Class VII. And hey, Elliot and Jusis were younger than him when they were running around Erebonia getting involved in a civil war, so]

That said, I know you're going to be worried, but I want you to keep living your life as you have been. You've earned your freedom, I'm just staying in long enough to make sure Jusis gets his too.

[And it's still so weird to think of Ash himself as having freedom, finally.]

If you need to get out quick, I can show you to that statue in Hyrule again. It'll take a lot of your power and shit, but it'd get you out.
